This master palette shows each of the colorways in the various types: Variegato (two colors marbled), Variegato Sciruss (three colors marbled), Cotto Ventilato (solid color smooth brushed), Terra Dei Leponzi (solid color sanded texture) and Pietrame Butterato (loose terrazzo effect). Each of the marbled tiles is blended individually and therefore unique - there is no repeating in the organic patterning - and goes all the way through the tile so that it may be milled during installation. The small voids in the surface are filled during grouting. This material is sold in raw, untreated form, and is recommended to be sealed during installation and maintained over time. Depending on the specified sealing product, the natural colors may be enhanced or not enhanced as preferred, and a beautiful surface patina will develop over time.
